The High Way Called “HOLINESS.” Isaiah 35:8-10.

God Has Standard; This Standard Is Called HOLINESS!

And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
Isaiah 35:8-10.

• The way of holiness and godliness shall be laid open. This way is an express way, both in Holy Worship and in Holy Living!
Holiness is the rectitude of human nature and will, in conformity to the divine nature and will. The way of holiness is that course of religious duties in which men ought to walk and press forward, with an eye to the glory of God and their own felicity in enjoyment of Him.
~ It shall be an appointed way; not a way of sufferance, but a high way, a way into which we are directed by a divine authority and in which we are protected by a divine warrant.
It’s a kings highway, in which though we may be waylaid we cannot be stopped. The way of holiness is the way of God’s commandments; it is the ” good old way.” Jeremiah 6:16.
~ It shall be an appropriate way, the way in which God will bring His own chosen to Himself. But the Unclean shall not pass over it, either to defile it or to obstruct those already passing by it.
It’s a way by itself, distinguished from the way of the world. It is a way of separation. It shall be for those whom The Lord has set apart for Himself. Psalm 4:3. The redeemed shall walk there, the satisfaction they take in these ways if pleasantness shall be out I reach of molestation from an evil world. The unclean shall no pass over it, for it shall be fair a fair way, those that walked in it are the undefined in the way, who escape the pollution that is in the world.
~ It shall be a straight way: The wayfaring men, who choose to travel in it, though fools shall not err therein.
This is a narrow way not the broadway, in this way carnality is nailed to the cross, gossiping, fighting, fornication, backbiting, stealing, lying, and lots more can not walk in this way. This way constrict you to let go of the excess luggages you are carrying. This way determines the kind of place you go to, the kind of food you eat, the kind of music you listen to, most especially, the kind of friends you keep.
The way to Heaven is a though and hard way, it is not easy, it’s the way if the cross, it is foolishness to the world. 1 Cor 1:18. But God uses the foolish things to Conform the Wise.
~ It is a safe way, no lion shall be there, nor any beast. Isa 35:9.
Those that keep close to this way, are kept out of the reach of satan the roaring lion.
Those that walk in the way of holiness are secured and hey have rest of mind, knowing that the devil cannot hurt them hence ” Their live is Hid in Christ and Christ in God.”

• The End of this way shall be everlasting joy Isa 35:10.
The ransom of The Lord shall return and come to Zion.
~ To serve and to worship God at Mount Zion, They shall come with songs of praise and joy for their deliverance. Just like God’s people did when they came out of babylon.
~ To see and enjoy God in the church triumphant.

Conclusion:
The way to Heaven is a plain way, a way of truth. Those that walk in the way of Holiness must separate the themselves from the unclean, they must save themselves from an untoward generation; hoping that they themselves are of the redeemed, let them walk with the redeemed who shall walk there.
At last we shall obtain the joy and gladness which we have been expecting, our sorrows, sighing and sadness shall flee away for ever, as the shadows of night before the raising sun.
Our Joyful hopes and prospect of eternal life should swallow up both all the sorrows and all the joys of this present time.
