He’s Risen! The Wonderful Story of Hope

IMG_2529

Today is one of the most important days of the Christian faith because it is the day that Our Lord Jesus Christ arose from the grave.

After the fall of man, God needed a mediator To bridge the gap between Him and human beings. For this purpose, He sent us His only begotten son to atone for our sins. John 3:16

When Jesus started his ministry according to the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. He first went to Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist, many signs and wonders were accomplished in the ministry of Jesus. This caused confusion in the camp of the Pharisees the Sadducees and other religious groups. These groups felt that Jesus Christ was making the people have a personal relationship with God through Him and turning them away from the old tradition of their forefathers and making the people see God in a different perspective.

Jesus message was simple:

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

John 14:6-7.

This message of Jesus angered the high priest and the chief priest.  Many times they sought to destroy Jesus by asking Him questions hoping to build a case of blasphemy against Jesus. But because it was not his time, they ended up not able to convict Him of any crime. The four Gospels give different details of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, His miracles, His preachings and dealings with the religious set.

From his early life to his ministry to his passion ( crucifixion) and resurrection were all programmed by God.

The Passion:

Passion of Christ entails his triumphal  entry into Jerusalem ( Palm Sunday), The cleansing of the temple ( Matt 21:12-17; Mark 11:15-19; Luke 19:45-48; and John 2:13-16.) and also prophesying His second coming, He was also anointed on His head and His feet with an Alabaster Jar of very expensive perfume made from Pure nard. Mark 14:3-9, John 12:1-8, Matthew 26:6-13.

He had the last supper with His disciples where He talked about continuity in unity and His betrayal by Judas and Peter’s denial of Him.  Matthew 26:17-35. His agonizing time in the garden of Gethsemane up to the kiss of betrayal and  His arrest. Matthew 26:36-56.

Jesus was then taken to the high priest and Sanhedrin ( Tribunal of twenty-three or seventy-one rabbis appointed in every city of ancient Israel.) to be tried. They found nothing against Him. But there arose someone to bear false witness against Jesus. There Peter denied His three times as Jesus predicted! Matthew 26:57-75, Mark 14:53-72, John 18:12-27, Luke 22:54-71.

Jesus was further sent to Pilate Court first, according to Luke 23:1-26. Pilate found out that Jesus was Galilean and sent Him to Herod’s Court. Luke 23:6-12. Notice in verse 12 Herod and Pilate made peace on the Head of Jesus.

Jesus was now returned to Pilate there He was tried. Although they found no fault in Him, they requested He be crucified and the thief Barabbas be released.  Matthew 27:11-26, Mark 15:1:22.

The crucifixion: Matthew 27:27-66.

He was first stripped and a scarlet robe was placed on Him. With a crown of thorns placed on His head. The mocked Him and said; “ Hail, King of the Jews!”

He was further brought to a place called Golgotha “ a place of a skull “ there they gave Him vinegar to drink mixed with gall. King David prophesied this in Psalm 69:21.

Finally, they crucified Him casting lot on His garment so that the law could be fulfilled. Psalm 22:18. They later set over His head, His accusation “ This Is Jesus, King Of The Jews!” Two thieves were crucified with Him, one on both sides.

The Death: Matthew 27:45-50, John 19:30-37, Luke 23:44-49, Mark 15:33-41.

Between the sixth and ninth hour, something strange happened, darkness was all over the land. And exactly as the ninth hour, Jesus cried, “ Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? Meaning: My God, My God, why Has thou forsaken Me?  Again He cried aloud when He was given vinegar again and gave up the Ghost.

The Greatest Gift!

Immediately Jesus died, the Veil of the temple was torn in two! The earth quaked, and the rocks rent. Graves were open and many bodies of the saints which slept did arise.

His Burial. Matthew 27:57-66, Luke 23:50-56, John 19:38-42, Mark 15:42-47.

Jesus was wrapped in a clean linen cloth, placed in Joseph of Arimathaea  as prophesied by Prophet Isaiah. Isaiah 53:9.

His tomb was sealed and watched.

The miraculous happened and this is the hope we have. Christ is risen! He arose from the dead on the third day.

The Resurrection Power!

IMG_2522

I will start by saying,

“ If the devil knew, that sending Jesus to the grave will bring everlasting redemption, he would never have rejoiced over the death of Jesus!”

The resurrection power happened on the third day. According to the gospels of Matthew 28:1-20, Mark 16:1-20, Luke 24:1-53, John 20:1-29.

There was a great earthquake and the stone was rolled away. His countenance shined so much and His raiment white as snow. This made the guards of the sepulcher act dead. Jesus has risen!

Christ in me the Hope of glory!

Mary Magdalene and the Mary (mother of James and Joses) came to the sepulcher and met an angel there. The angel told them; He’s not there He’s Risen!

IMG_2526

The benefits of His resurrection.

When Jesus gave up the ghost, the Veil which was rent was the veil which divided the holy place into which the priest entered from the holy of holies into which only the High Priest might enter on the day of atonement. Exodus 26:31-35, Leviticus 16:1-30. The rending of the Veil, which was a type of the human body of Christ signified that a new and living way was open for all believers. Having a personal relationship with God. Hebrews 10:19-22. This was done with no other sacrifice or priesthood save Christ. Hebrews 9:1-8.

Finally, Jesus gave us the great commission!

Go into the world and preach this Good News, the Good Tidings!

Power was given to us.

This is our gospel!

2 Timothy 2:8

Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel!

ATTRIBUTES OF GOD

IMG_2467

TEXT: Job 37:1-24

MEMORY VERSE: Isaiah 40:28 “Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding” (KJV).

An attribute is a quality or feature regarded as a characteristic or inherent part of someone or something. The attribute of a person is, therefore, the characteristics he has that shape his behavior.

God does make Himself known in a variety of ways and through what he reveals about Himself in His Word and in His creation. When we talk about the attributes of God, we are trying to talk about: WHO IS GOD? WHAT IS HE LIKE? and WHAT KIND OF GOD IS HE?

IMG_2465

GOD is the ONLY One Who never changes. His Name, His Character, remains the same through all generations. He is the One and Only. His hands are Strong, Mighty and Secure. He displays His power every day in the world set on unseen Pillars, the Sunrise, the Sunset and the Stars in the sky.

God is unlike anyone or anything we could ever know or imagine. He is One of a kind, unique and without comparison. Our words simply cannot do justice to describe our Holy and Great God.

We cannot fathom the mysteries of God. Job 36:26, 37:23-24.

IMG_2469

WHO IS GOD? WHAT IS HE LIKE? and WHAT KIND OF GOD IS HE?

1) ETERNAL (SELF EXISTENT): God has no beginning or end. He just exists. He was already there before the Creation.

He created all things. He is Eternal, Immortal, and Infinite.

YAHWEH is His Name. Exodus 3:13-14; Psalm 90:1-2.

2) TRINITY: Although God revealed Himself in three Persons, God is ONE. He appeared in the Father form, SON form, and the HOLY SPIRIT form. It depends on when He wants to operate. God is One Divine Being in Three offices. Genesis 1:1-3, 26; Matthew 28:19.

3) SOVEREIGN: God is Supreme. He rules His entire Creation. He is unfathomable, unsearchable, and past finding out as far as understanding it completely. He is in control of everything that happens; although man still has a free will, and is responsible for his choices and actions in life. Romans 11:33-36.

4) INFINITE: God is boundless, limitless, and impossible to measure or calculate. No man can search out His understanding. He has no age or boundaries. Isaiah 40:28; Colossians 1:17.

5) OMNIPOTENT: God possesses infinite power. He is all Powerful. He expends no energy that must be replenished. He can do anything that pleases Him. God allows us to have some power but this in no way diminishes His own. Though He rested on the seventh day, this doesn’t imply that He was tired and He needed rest. It was to set an example for us and our need for rest. Jeremiah 32:17, 27.

6) OMNISCIENT: God possesses infinite knowledge and therefore, has no need to learn. He is all knowing. It is impossible to hide anything from Him. He knows the past, present, and future including what you are thinking at any given moment. Genesis 6:5; Zechariah 4:10b.

7) OMNIPRESENT: God knows no bounds. So, clearly, He is everywhere. He is with us and the fullness of His presence is all around us. The knowledge that we do not alone calm the troubled seas of our lives and speaks to our troubled soul. Deuteronomy 31:8; Hebrews 13:5.

8) WISE: God knows no mistakes. We cannot understand His wisdom and His ways. For it is by wisdom He founded the earth. I Corinthians 1:25; Psalm 104:24.

9) SELF SUFFICIENT: God has no needs and He has never been in need of anything. God cannot improve on Himself. He doesn’t need our help with anything. He is Self-sufficient Psalm 50:12.

10) FAITHFUL: God does not lie. Everything that He has spoken or promised will come to pass. He remains incorruptible. I Samuel 15:29; Hebrew 6:18

11) IMMUTABLE: God never changes. His character never changes. He never gets ‘better’ or ‘worse’. God is dependable. Psalm 102:27; Malachi 3:6a; Hebrew 13:8.

12) GRACIOUS: God enjoys giving great gifts to those who love Him even when they do not deserve it. If it were not Grace, His holiness would exclude us from His presence. Psalm 145:8.

13) HOLY: This attribute sets God apart from all created beings. He has no sin or evil thought in Him at all. He is separated from all moral defilement. It refers to His Majesty and His perfect moral purity. Psalm 93:5; Isaiah 6:3. God sees all evils and it angers Him. Jeremiah 23:20.

14) LOVE: God’s love is not that of emotion but of action. It is an important part of God’s Character. I John 4:7b, 8b.

15) GOOD: The goodness of God is that which proves Him to be Kind, Cordial, Benevolent, and full of goodwill towards man. Psalm 34:8; Nahum 1:7.

 16) MERCIFUL: This is the attribute of God which actively shows His compassion. Mercy is the goodness of God confronting human suffering and guilt. Mercy is the way He desires to relate to us mankind unless the person chooses to despise or ignore Him. Psalm 108:4; 103:17.

17) JEALOUS: God is a jealous God. Exodus 20:5; 34:14; Deuteronomy 4:24. He never winks at any form of idolatry; He doesn’t share His glory with any. Isaiah 42:8; Nahum 1:2.

18) JUST: God is just. His being just brings moral equity to everyone. And that was why Jesus had to experience God’s wrath when our sins were placed on Him. Romans 3:21-26. God will no Passover wrongdoing that is not repented of. He will never quit the wicked guiltless. The saved gets mercy and the unsaved get justice. Nobody gets injustice. Exodus 34:5-7; Zephaniah 3:5; Romans 2:2.

A CALL TO HOLINESS

ART-type-holiness-to-the-lord-1004

Texts: 1 Peter 1:4-16, Hebrews 12:14, 1 Thessalonians 5:27

Memory verse: 1 Peter 1:15

Introduction

There is one characteristic of God that cannot be changed or negotiated. It is holiness. Our God is a holy God. The Scriptures clearly prove this fact. The Almighty has established that those who worship Him must do so out of a sincere and pure heart. He is holy and therefore, demands this same attribute from every one of His children. Jesus came and His exemplary life is the encouragement that we can live holy lives by faith (Hebrews 4:15-16). As believers, holiness should be our watchword. 1 Thessalonians 4:7.

What is holiness?

  • Holiness is obedience to the word of God. Genesis 22:1-2, 12; 1 Samuel 15:22
  • Holiness is honesty. 1 Peter 2:12
  • Holiness is living up to God’s standards.
  • Holiness is to fear God – doing in secret what you wouldn’t be ashamed if God should reveal to another.
  • Holiness is purity of heart. Matthew 5:8
  • Holiness is righteousness in our motives and actions. Romans 6:19, 12:1-2
  • Holiness is overcoming temptation, lust and evil desires of the flesh. 1 John 2:15-17
  • Holiness is putting away the old man and putting on the new man. Ephesians 4:22-24

Why is holiness important?

  • Holiness is God’s command. 1 Peter 1:15-16, 1 Thessalonians 4:7
  • Only holy people can access the mysteries of God. Psalm 25:14, Amos 3:7.
  • To be filled with the Holy Spirit, you have to be holy.
  • The Holy Spirit is grieved at seeing ungodliness in His vessels. Ephesians 4:30
  • Holiness is our identification with God and His children. 1 Peter 1:15
  • You can’t fully experience God if you are not holy. Matthew 5:8
  • Backsliding is closer as holiness is farther.
  • It gives us the power to be effective witnesses for Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 2:10
  • Heaven will not permit any unclean thing. Revelation 21:8, 27

What can we do to answer the call?

  • Repent from every known sin. Acts 2:38; 1 John 1:9, 2:1-2
  • Avoid contamination and pollution. 1 Peter 2:11, Isaiah 35:8
  • Keep godly friends. 1 Corinthians 15:33
  • Pray continually without getting discouraged. Matthew 26:40, 41; 1 Thessalonians 5:17
  • Be a Bible addict. Psalm 119:11, Joshua 1:8
  • Proceed on deliverance. Obadiah 1:17
  • Attend services regularly. Hebrews 10:25

Conclusion

Remember, as a child of God, the Most High has great plans for you (Jeremiah 29:11). You have been called, chosen and cultivated for the purpose of bringing praise to Him (1 Peter 2:9, John 15:16). However, He demands our wholehearted cooperation on this issue of holiness and He is not ready to bend. Our duty and passion must be to be holy, just like Him. Refusal to do so is equivalent to rebellion and disobedience to God. Revelation 22:11.

Questions

  • Does being holy exempt us from temptations?
  • “Holiness is just a doctrine. It is not required by all Christians.” True or False? How would you respond to such a statement?
  • Is a holy life insurance against our natural desires?

How do you deal with a person with a “holier-than-thou” attitude?

JOIN YOURSELF TO HIS CHARIOT

Philip and the Ethiopian Acts 8:27-31

Bible Lesson: Acts 8: 5-13, 26-40.

Acts 8: 29

Then the spirit said to Philip “ Go near and overtake this Chariot”.

INTRODUCTION:

Philip was a respected member of the Church at Jerusalem who was chosen as one of the seven first ‘ deacons ‘ ( Acts 6: 5 ). Following Stephen’s Martyrdomm, Philip took the gospel to Samaria, where his Ministry was blessed. Subsequently, he was led south to Jerusalem -Gaza Road, where he introduced the Ethiopian Eunuch to Christ and baptized him. ( Acts 8: 26-38).腓力傳福音施洗

He was then transported by the Spirit to Azotus ( Ashdod ). He is last seen in the Scripture when Paul lodged in his home on his journey to Jerusalem. He had four (4) unmarried daughters who were prophetesses. ( Acts 21 : 8).

Lesson Outlines:

1. Simon the magician believes. Acts 8: 9-13.

2. Peter visits Samaria. Acts 8: 14-25.

3. The conversion of the Ethiopian Treasurer. Acts 8: 26-40.

1.  Simon the magician believes. Acts 8: 9-13.

Simon the magician (sometimes called Simon Magus) stands in contrast to Philip and his work. Magic was a significant form of religious expression in the ancient world. Simon the sorcerer has a seducing spirit to make lies look as true, an enticing of the devil. God’s Word is against the spirit of sorcery. II Kings 21:9; Acts 20: 30; Deut. 13: 6-10; I Tim. 4:1 ; II Tim. 3:13 ; Deut. 18: 10;  Acts 13: 6-11.

2. Peter visits Samaria. Acts 8: 14-25.

No one had told the Samaritans about the Holy Spirit. That dimension of Christian experience was missing from the group. But when Peter, who had experienced the Spirit, informed them of the grand possibility they eagerly opened the windows of their souls to receive God’s gift of the Holy Spirit through prayer and laid hands on them.

The Spirit, having broken down the racial barriers that denied Samaritan religious access to God, now breaks down a physical barrier to faith as well. None would be judged based on racial and physical characteristics. Entry into the kingdom of God would depend solely on a spiritual relationship with God. Simon ( the magician) thought that if he could have that power, his act would be a real winner. He had the audacity (boldness) to offer to buy the gift from Peter.

Peter informed the startled charlatan that he had never really had an experience with Jesus and that he would never receive The Apostles proposed a solution that pleased the entire community. That solution involved selecting a group of men to administer this assistance to widows. Like the Apostles, these men were chosen for their wisdom and their spirituality.

3. Selection and Installation Acts 6: 5-7.

The Church selected their Ministers and set the seven (7) apart for their Ministry.

Stephen is named first, and he became the primary character in the following narrative. He is followed by Phillip, who would become a major figure in the expanding Christian witness.

The other five  Procorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas and Nicolas from Antioch play no further role in Acts.

The Church presented these men to the Apostles, who confirmed the Church’s decision by praying and laying hands on the seven.

Be selecting of Seven, the Apostles were free to carry out their primary responsibilities of preaching and bearing witness to Christ.

THE MIXED MULTITUDE.

Life is all about right connection and positioning. We cannot rise above the company we keep!

exodus-12-a-mixed-multitude-also-went-up-with-them

 Exodus 12: 37-38

And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.

And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.

Ezekiel 33:31.

“And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much l love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

This present generation has a great issue to deal with, lots of sad events have transpired as a result of having the wrong people in one’s circle.

Life is all about right connection and positioning. We cannot rise above the company we keep!

  1. THE MIXED MULTITUDE IN THE TIME OF MOSES:

During the time of Moses when God’s people were leaving bondage, some uninvited guests accompanied them. These guests caused the people of Israel to sin against God.

These were people who had No encounter with the God of Israel, No Promise of Canaan as their focus, No Covenant with God, and No law of God to guide them.

They didn’t leave Egypt because they were tired of living in Egypt and longing for the Redemption of God, rather they followed Israel out of curiosity after they saw the manifestation of God’s Power and for fear of the unknown in Egypt. They are people who left Egypt without Egypt leaving them. Numbers 11: 4-6.

  1. THE MIXED MULTITUDE IN THE CHURCH TODAY:

a) These are pretenders who clothe themselves in the sheep’s clothing but are wolves Matthew 7:15. In other words, they are Double-Faced people who carefully hide in the midst of God’s people as we earlier said.

b) They are those with Spit loyalty coming to the presence of God, yet never fully committed to Him. Ezekiel 33:31: 2 Tim 3:7.

c) They are those who always long for or look back to the things they left behind whenever things grow tough. Genesis 19: 17, 26; Numbers 11:5.

d) They are those who grumble and complain first when hardship arises. Numbers 14: 1-10.

e) These are always the source of trouble, discouragement, and discord amongst the brethren. Romans 16: 17; 2 Tim 4: 14.

f) They are not teachable rather they bring in their own vision to cause division. 2 Tim 4: 3-4.

g) These are fault finders and Not-Path Finders. John 12: 1-8.

h) These are the Tares among the wheel who will NEVER be content to simply walk away, quietly return to Egypt where they rightly belong or be patient to see God’s Salvation: rather they will sow seeds of discontent, doubt, and unbelief amongst those who genuinely belong to God.

The true believer is called into a life of separation. Jesus while praying for this disciple and the church, prayed that we are separated from the world. 2 Corinthians 6: 14-18; John 15: 18-19, 17:14-16.

We can know the Mixed Multitude by the fruits they bear and avoid them. Romans 16: 17.

Therefore, let our eyes be fixed on Jesus who ALONE is the Author and Finisher of our Faith and NOT look so much at other people as our example lest we are weary and faint.

Hebrews 12: 2-3; Galatians 6:4, Philippians 2: 12.

NOTE: Remember the mixed multitude didn’t leave Egypt because they were tired of living in Egypt. They were not longing for Salvation or Redemption of God rather they followed Israel because they were curious to know what will happen to Israel after they left Egypt and also because they were not sure of what will happen to Egypt after had left.

BEWARE! The Mixed Multitude has NO promise of Canaan so, they stand to lose Nothing and they will Stop at Nothing to hinder those on their way to their promised land.

THE FIVE DRESSES SHE SHOULD WEAR

Life is all about precise order and a cascade of a carefully pre-ordained pathway. Science once questioned God existence, but many of those theories were met with precise order and processes that cannot happen without a Creator.

Isaiah 28:10

“For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:”

Life is planned and every step we take should be meticulously planned and carefully followed. Many people have lost focus and are heading towards destruction because they refuse to follow the pre-set order of life.

There are a time and season for everything, the wisest man Solomon once said:

“There is a Time for Everything Under the Sun.”

There comes a time when you as a person discover your purpose. There is a saying that many people die without finding out what their purpose is about, but I beg to differ. Sooner or Later you will find your purpose. It might be too late, it might be early but you will definitely find out who you really what and why you are on earth!

The reason for this short post is to enlighten our sisters. As a girl, lady, woman or mummy whichever category you classify yourself, you should Wear FIVE DRESSES during your lifetime on earth if all goes well and you live up to old age. These five dresses are so orderly placed that you cannot afford to miss or skip any of them if you really want to live a successful and blissful life.

But this present generation has lost its values, purpose, and authenticity. If you ever had the chance to speak to people of the older generation, their values towards life differ from ours. This is as a result of how we the younger generation see life. I will discuss these five dresses one after the order explain why it is a tragedy if you skip or miss the order of these dresses.

School Dress:

112

School, right? Yes! The school dress is one of the most important dress every girl should wear. Education is power and any society where females are educated excel more and is a progressive one. The best gift you could ever give to a girl is to education. She will do exploits. It saddens my heart that many societies are still lacking behind this precious gift. Our girls should be taught from a very tiny age, the power of education from Kindergarten to A-levels so as to move on to the next Dress which is…….

University Dress:

20140216-nauchni-prichini-zoshto-e-podobro-da-go-studirate-toa-shto-go-sakate-m

Now you are a lady now, and congratulations on your A-levels results. I hope you picked the right course at university. Study what you love doing best! The university dress is very important as important life decisions are made during this time. Here your friends, some you are glad you met them, others you wish you did not! Whichever you are here now and you must chart your life and destiny by yourself. Remember, without the school dress you couldn’t wear this dress which implies you doing everything right and just to wear the next dress. During your time in wearing this dress, distractions will arise, many things will divert your attention. If only you can stay focus and persevere you will come out refined and shining like Gold.

If you take short-cut during this period well, you will be cut-short and your sins will find you out sooner or later.

Graduation Dress:

Congratulations beautiful everyone is proud of you, no matter your final score you did well and may I remind you, employers do not care what you have on paper, they are more concerned about what you have on your beautiful big head! During this time, you will look for jobs, you will get turned down more than ever please persevere. You will have to form an alliance with some people to help you secure a job. The opposite sex will come offering help in disguise just to get under your legs. Please turn them Down! Many guys will come offering the Fourth Dress in a romantic way. Please watch, discern, think deep and meditate. You have to make the right choice now, there is no turning back on the fourth dress because time and emotions will be invested 100%.

May I bring to your attention that some irresponsible guys will offer you the Fifth Dress, jumping the fourth one, my daring please Close your Legs and Open your Books and Bible!

Meeting her bridegroom her eyes full of love.

Love have they waited long have they planned

A CROWN OF LIFE THROUGH HIS CROSS

Crowns

After the fall of man, God needed somebody to stand in the gap. He wanted a mediator, a negotiator, someone that will build the broken bridge. He wanted a redeemer to redeem mankind, yet He found none. There is a very interesting and wonderful story found in the New Testament book of Hebrews. When God needed a fresh start with man, like a sort of covenant, a will that will stand the test of time. God wanted to connect back with mankind and to break down the middle wall of partition between man and Himself.

He tried using many people from Abraham, Moses, Samuel, David, Nehemiah, Ezra, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and countless more lived sacrificially warning men of their sins and trying to build the back the broken bridge between men and God. With all these efforts, still, mankind was still lost. After the fall of man, the kind of personal relationship that God had with mankind prior to the fall of man was no more. As a loving father, He wanted that sweet loving relationship back with mankind.

The book of Hebrews in the New Testament tells us of a beautiful and interesting story in Hebrews 9:15-28. The story is about the Testament (Will) and the death of the Testator for the Testament (Will) to become effective.

When God needed a new start with man, He wanted to take away pain, sin, guilt, curse, sufferings, sadness, sickness, grieve and every misfortune that has plagued mankind after the fall of man. However, this Loving Act needed a Testament to be writing and the death of the Testator for it to be fully effective. Recall from Old Testament up to the New Testament, anyone with a unique destiny faced fierce opposition from the devil because the devil himself clearly remembers the words of God saying:

“And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heel.” Genesis 3:15.

The new covenant that God would love to establish with mankind could only be effective through the shedding of a “Precious Blood” to have the remission of sin Hebrews 9:22. In the era of the Old testament, it was the blood of animals yet the middle wall of partition was still between man and God. God wanted man to enter boldly into the Holiest, but only through the precious blood of Jesus.

So, friends, we can now—without hesitation—walk right up to God, into “the Holy Place.” Jesus has cleared the way by the blood of his sacrifice, acting as our priest before God. The “curtain” into God’s presence is his body. Hebrews 10:19 (MSG).

Jesus came as a mediator, a negotiator of a New Covenant. His blood was pure, void of sin, it speaks Mercy towards man. His Testament (WILL) contained every good benefit man can every imagine and to make it effective God sent Him to die for our sins.

John 3:16 (KJV)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

He is our testator and the good things He offered through the shedding of His innocent blood I sour testament. This testament automatically came into effect when He died four us and rose from the dead.

We are heirs of the Father
We are joint heirs with the Son
We are children of the kingdom
We are a family we are one.

Oneness and unity came only through Christ Jesus who broke down the middle wall of partition and bridged the gap between us and God. Ephesians 2:14.

Before Jesus left His disciples, He promised them the Holy Spirit according to John 16. The Holy Spirit is present with us here as our promised counselor and comforter. We ought to reciprocate this loving kindness given to us by God, by living a holy and acceptable life to God a life void of sin. According to Hebrews 4:14-16 Jesus came in flesh to feel our pain, He was tempted as we are being tempted yet He lived a life without sin. We will not be justified nor can we dwell on the message of grace, because time is running out.

Jesus said, “Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me].” Matthew 16:24 (AMP).

The Cross is a place where carnality is nailed, a place where the flesh is crucified daily, where the loved of this world and the things thereof are no more of an interest for us as people of God. The Cross before the Crown, we must run with patience this race of glory set before us. God promised a new covenant according to Jeremiah 31:31-40, where He will write His laws on the table of our hearts and He will remember our Iniquities no more. It’s a fresh start, a new and abiding promise. We do not need the blood of animals to make atonements for us anymore, we have boldness to enter the Holiest by the precious Blood of Jesus.

Jesus’s last word was “It Is Finished” John 19:30, immediately He gave up the ghost. According to Matthew 27:51, the Veil of the of the temple was rent into two from top to bottom. This signifies a new access and direct access to the Throne of Grace, Jesus bridged the wall of partition through His blood. We only need to draw closer to God and benefit from this wonderful privilege. There are no more excuses, all is settled at Calvary. We ought to lay aside every weight of guilt and flee from every form of sin, then focus only on Jesus: The Author and Finisher of Our Faith. Hebrews 12:1-2.

Christ Is Your Solid Rock, His Oath, His Covenant and His Blood is Speaking Better Things  For You.

 God bless.
