TO DELIVER HER FROM THE WAY OF THE EVIL MAN. Proverbs 2:12-15

2013083014463997185

Proverbs 2:12-15

12 To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;

13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;

14 Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;

15 Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:

The evil man? Sounds strange right? Are there really evil people out there that we must avoid? A Resounding YES! To unravel this question further, let us look at a very short history of the life of the writer. They say experience is the best teacher, of course, I totally agree. It is the best teacher for the Unwise.

King Solomon was a king, a great one that started very well. In fact, one of the few people recorded in the Bible that provoked fire from heaven. He built a temple for God in Jerusalem, when he was dedicating the temple; the Glory of God filled the whole temple and the priest could not enter into the temple to minister. This is to show how well he started, but the stranger called Lust made him err a lot. Thank God for Restoration and most importantly a Repenting heart, He later traced his steps back to God. Solomon wrote the book of Proverbs out of an experience. He was the only man at that time that could give the advice about the evil man and the strange woman; because he had married just only 700 wives and 300 concubines🙈👀. After living this kind of life to the maximum he wrote the book of Proverbs.

When we talk about the evil man, what are we talking about? In the context of this post, we are for the ladies (men don’t worry next post is about the strange woman hahaha there are lots to talk about, but let us encourage our sisters and save them from the snare of the evil man so they don’t fall prey.)

Now to our beautiful sisters, what is the way of an evil man and why is it so important that Solomon had to talk about it?

maxresdefault

The evil man is no stranger to destruction, the evil man is that unfriendly friend, the evil man is a destiny terminator. The evil man is that person that stops at nothing to bring you down. The evil man is that person that drags you into that cleverly conceal sin that you are indulging in, thinking no one will find out. The evil man is the star killer. The evil man is that in secret chapters in the book of your life that you are constantly battling with, that secret battle you can’t tell anybody about. The evil man is that man that rejoices in the evil news but turns very cold when something good is happening in the life of a sister. The evil man leaves the way of righteousness to walk in the way of darkness. The evil man is never upright, very corny, never straightforward.

As a sister, the evil man is that man that; prevents you from constantly attending church, disrupt your Bible study time and quiet time, block your communication with heaven, refuses to attend fellowship with you but will gladly drive you to a party. The evil man is that person you entered into a relationship with and your spiritual life dropped from good to bad and bad to worst.

The sad truth about the evil man is they are now inside the church. There is something strange about the evil man these days, this is why it is very difficult for our sisters to detect them. The evil man has the spirit of a chameleon, they change and can easily adapt to any situation. We will discuss the only way we can overcome the evil man subsequently.

The Bible says in Proverbs 3:13 “Happy is a man who finds wisdom and who acquires understanding. wisdom is key; without it, we are actually living like someone who is physically blind. Proverbs 4:7 “Wisdom is of utmost importance, therefore get wisdom, and with all your effort work to acquire understanding. When you read further to the book of Hosea 4:6a; the same Bible is lamenting that; My people were cut off because they lacked wisdom.”

As a sister with great destiny and future ahead of you, to become successful you will need to avoid the evil in every ramification of life. As Christians Heaven is our Outmost Goal and a Successful Marriage is very Essential to achieving this goal. Who we get married to also influences our journey towards Heaven, and also the kind of Family we will raise. The devil understands these principles and knows when the Home is on Fire the Society is also on Fire. And most importantly, the Church at large. For this sole reason, his rage against the church of God is so much, and he has cleverly entered the church as an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14.

A vast majority of ladies have boarded and are sailing in a particular Ship heading to Tarshish. For you to understand Tarshish in this context, you need to first understand the story of Prophet Jonah, one of the twelve minor Prophets of the Bible.  When God sent him to Nineveh to preach to them, he refused and boarded a ship to Tarshish. Many sisters have entered what Nigerians call “One Chance Bus” to destruction all because they encountered the evil man. The evil man is the Ship that leads to a place of destruction (Tarshish), the place where the presence of God will not go with you. Tarshish is the place where people lose their divine purpose, the stronghold, and city of the evil man. It’s a place where lives and destinies are destroyed.

Many sisters missed their divine purpose here on earth all because, they Met who they were supposed to Miss, and Missed who they were supposed to Meet. “THE PEOPLE YOU SHOULD MEET AND THE PEOPLE YOU MUST MISS

Ladies who were meant to be great people are stranded in the marketplace of life, solely because the met the evil man on his way to Tarshish and he succeeded in convincing them. Telling them to join his ship sailing to Nineveh, when in reality is truly sailing to Tarshish😭.

Discernment is key unfortunately, many sisters lack this gift. They cannot tell, nor differentiate a person that possesses the Spirit of God from that of the devil. Christians pray for the gift of Tongues, Prophesies and lots more, but neglecting the basic of them all which is Discernments. Proverbs 2: 11 says “Discretion(Discernment) shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:🙌🏽” The lack and inability to discern has made a lot of sisters to fall into the traps of the evil man.

There are specific people personally ordained by the devil to waste the lives of sisters with a great destiny.”THE FRAGMENTED SOUL. “SEX!” & THE VALLEY OF SOREK. Judges 16:4”  A large number of this people uses gifts to blind the eyes of our sisters, knowingly or unknowingly. Of course, sisters fall prey because of greed to #SadTruth. People want material blessings but fail to understand the basic principles of Jesus on how to get wealth, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33” they are easily blinded by the things of this world and re showered by the things of the devil. The gifts you receive from the so-called brother in the church might actually be a cleverly conceal trap to cage them. Virtues are stolen away because of this trick. The devil is clever because he understands that, many sisters are now aware of his devices. He has now transformed into an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14. In doing this he has sent his agents into the church of God, they are hard to detect making it difficult for people to really see their true motives. As a woman, if you cannot discern you will fall prey for every ship going to Tarshish. Like I said previously, Tarshish is the place where God is not leading you to.

In this dispensation where we belong, we cannot defeat the devil by simply relying on our own strength. The bible says “for by strength shall no man prevail. 1 Sam 2:9b.” It is not by power neither is it by might, only by the Spirit of God. As a lady, you need to pray earnestly without a season to overcome and escape from the trap of the evil man. Your only way is to surrender your life to God, only then He will guide you and keep you from the evil man.

As a sister with great destiny ahead of you, always remember that; “because a door has opened wide for you to do effective work, although many people are opposing you. 1 Corinthians 16:9.” The devil will stop at nothing to bring you down; he will send different (SHIP) counterfeits your way all leading to Tarshish all in the name of, RELATIONSHIP, FRIENDSHIP, PARTNERSHIP, Fellowship, COURTSHIP, SCHOLARSHIP and many other Ship leading to Tarshish. He will make you leave Zion for Babylon, he will cause you to forget the laws of God and His commandments. “Because the command is a lamp and the Law a light, rebukes that discipline is a way of life. Proverbs 6:23” Ladies please guild your heart with all diligence because out of it are the issues of life Proverbs 4:23. Don’t just Pray only, Watch and Pray, with Diligence. Don’t be fooled or blinded by the works of men, Try the Spirit, Test the Fruits. A good tree should bear good fruits. Do not fall prey to the sweet and enticing words of men to lead you astray.

beripikir salah

For those in any of the Ship leading to Tarshish, you know them better yourself. Pray earnestly to God so He would intervene and trust me it will be very hard to do His will. You might be hurt and shattered in the process but;

“A Broken Heart is Better than A Broken or Destroyed Destiny!”

People mostly have good intentions, but because the devil is after Godly relationships, he tries to corrupt our brothers and possess them with the spirit of the evil. The results in many Christian relationships ending up like that of the world. The solution is constant prayer and meditation in the things of God, having a mentor who is filled with the Spirit of God to guide you and your partner in the ways of God. You that are still single, you need to pray and let God lead you Himself. Leave no unguarded place, no weaknesses in every area, take every virtue, every grace and fortify the whole.

Finally, Beautiful when you put all your Cares and Worries in His hands, He will put His Peace in your Hearts and Guild you through Life’s Processes.

With Love, Pst Zino.

DO YOU LOVE ME MORE THAN THESE? JOHN 21:15-17

peter-feed-my-sheep

It’s Easter period a time in which we celebrate the Death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. For us Christian, it is a special time and it does hold a special place in our hearts, having great significance.

The faith and hope we have in God are all because Jesus died for our sins and He has risen from the dead. He led captivity captive, liberated men and gave eternal life to us. This great gift gives us the grace to have a better relationship with God our father.

After the fall of Man we needed a new start and new life, Jesus came to cement that new beginning. Reconciling man back to God.

THE FALL OF MAN & MAN’S RECONCILIATION WITH GOD.

For this reason, we call Jesus

“mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. Hebrews 12:24”.

And in Ephesians 2:14 “For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;”

“JESUS THE MEDIATOR OF THE NEW COVENANT.” Hebrews 12:24.

On that fateful Good Friday when our Lord Jesus was crucified, it was as if nothing will work. All hope was lost until our Lord Jesus arose from the dead on the resurrection Sunday and showed Himself before them.

risen-christ

The first time was in John 21. Simon Peter the right-hand man of Jesus decided to go fishing since he was a man of high reputation among the disciples. The rest decided to join him. They worked that night and caught nothing. Jesus later appeared to them for the third time, at first they did not recognize him. John the beloved the disciple whom Jesus loved, recognized Him and said unto Peter. “It is the Lord.” John 21:7.

The disciples gathered together to have a wonderful time, and Jesus asked Peter a very simple question. Vs 15-17.

Peter Do You Love Me More Than This???

John 21:15-17

b92a1-sanpedroyjesus2

15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

God demonstrated His Love towards us for allowing His only begotten son to die for us John 3:16. This time around God around Jesus gave us the great commission, to spread His love to every corner of the world. This pure and undiluted agape love is spread through the gospel of Christ.  John 16:15-18, Matthew 28:16-20.

Do You Love Me More Than This? Jesus asked that question because he wanted the His disciples to see and understand how important the great commission was. Jesus went to the cross; He has played His own part it is now our turn to do the same. Our command is to go into the world and preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Peter went fishing and the other disciples joined him, Jesus promised them that He would make them fishers of men and not of fishes.

Jesus asked Peter the same question three times, “Simon Son of Jonah, Loveth Me More Than These? Simon Peter replied and said Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee.

Jesus replied and said, “Feed my Lambs, and the last two answers were Feed my Sheep.”

Jesus needed to be sure of what Peter would do in His absence. If we really understand the message of Easter, then we will spread the good news of the gospel. Jesus was telling His disciples about the great commission. He gave us salvation and He expects us that have known the truth to shine His light to all corners of the world.

Easter is all about love, let us spread the love of Christ abroad.  It is a season when the promise of the Holy Spirit and its era was made many years ago.

doyouhavetolovegod_1-960x350

John 16:7

Nevertheless, I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

We are in the dispensation of grace. We are saved by grace, not by our works according to Ephesians 2:8-10.

We have the “THE BORN AGAIN EXPERIENCE: Ephesians 2:1-10.” But this experience we have encountered with Jesus should not be for ourselves alone. We must tell of His love and good news to everyone around us. The power of Christianity is Manifested in Jesus and the Hope of Heaven is found in Him. But our comforter is the Gift Jesus left for us. This gift is the person of the Holy Spirit. He gives power to Luke 24:49.

Finally, folks the command of the great commission is our goal and duty, Mark 16:15-18. We only need to believe, because the signs and wonders shall follow us.

WHO SHALL I SEND & WHO WILL GO FOR ME? Isaiah 6:8

isaiah6

Isaiah 6:8

Also, I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

After king Uzziah died, I prophet Isaiah saw God for the first time. The terrible connecting between the Prophet Isaiah and King Uzziah is broken. When the eyes of Isaiah were opened he said in verse 5: Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.

Like I said in our previous topic (THE PEOPLE YOU SHOULD MEET AND THE PEOPLE YOU MUST MISS), certain people or groups of people should not be in our lives if we really want to become who God intends us to be.

If God was looking for a man to send in the days of Isaiah, imagine what is happening in our days now. The question is, was Isaiah not a prophet of God? Were there no other prophets during that time who could still stand in the gap? God needed a middleman.

Ezekiel 22:30. And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. God said: “But I Found None!”

It doesn’t mean these prophets or servant of God were great sinner or fake. Though some were, the good ones were not just up to the standard God was looking for.

We will look at these four key points they are systematically ordered.

  1. After King Uzziah died prophet Isaiah saw God. This is strange but if you study the chronicles of the Kings you will understand who King Uzziah really was and what he did. Isaiah was a prophet in his times, king Uzziah was doing the job of a prophet/priest. Many people are occupying the wrong offices in life, people do things they are not supposed to do.

Success in every ramification is all about correct positioning.

To get God into your boat you must be doing what He endorses. You cannot be a friend of the devil and you expect God to speak and empower you for a great mission Wrong! They view of so many is blocked, like they are working under a closed heave because they operate in the wrong base/place where God will not show up. The spirit of Uzziah is common and until that spirit is terminated in our lives we won’t really be able to achieve what God intends for us.

As soon as the prophet Isaiah saw God, he realized that he was a man with an Unclean Lips Isaiah 6:5. How does the Eye correlate to the Mouth? Why did Isaiah say he’s a man with Unclean Eyes?  It is what you see that you are bold enough to speak about.

  1. An angel brought live coal in his hands from the altar, and laid it upon his mouth saying;

Isaiah 6:7

“See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”

The eyes influence the life of a man, what you see all the time becomes a part of you. What you see always have great control over your actions.

Job said; “I made a covenant with my eyes!” Job 31:1.

David said; “Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.” Psalm 199:18.

Apostle Paul said; “I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,”

When your sight is correct, your vision and purpose becomes outstanding. You see what God wants you to see, understand your mistakes and errors. This narrows you down to a fulfilled life.

  1. Isaiah heard the voice of the Lord. Do you know why Isaiah could not hear from God all this time? Which with a mouth will he use to answer God? The unclean lips?

If we follow look at it from this perspective, He saw God, He knew He was Unclean, He asked for Forgiveness, An Angel came and Purified his Lips and Atone for his Sins, He could now Hear God.

  1. The final point could only have happened because there was a cascade from verse 1. Which was: See God (Have an Encounter with Him); Understand and Acknowledge your Sins; Be Purged, Purified and made Whole; then finally you will Have the Father Son Relationship with God when you can speak with Him and relate with Him.

Knowing the mind and plans of God for your life comes only when you have this unique relationship with Him.

il_fullxfull.805700271_7bno

Finally, dearly beloved of God. Isaiah had an encounter with God, this lead to many beneficial things in his life. All these happened step after step, meaning our God is God of Order and Precision. According to Isaiah 28:10 Precepts must be upon precept. God is looking for a generation that He can be proud of. I so much believe that we can be that people. That man and woman, that boy and that girl that will boldly stand in the Gap.

Before this can happen, we need to put off the old man, take away that garment that us stained with sin. Lay aside every weight and sin that we easily fall into.

Prophet Isaiah realized this, and his life changed and never remained the same. From chapter 6 to chapter 66 (60 chapters later), Isaiah had wonderful stories and beautiful messages of restoration; prophesies for generations to come, He talked about our Savior Jesus Christ. All these event transpired because he had a dealing with God.

We can have this same story; we only need to be available. Let us yield to the call of God, and remember these four steps.

His visitation and power; Acknowledging our mistakes and the repenting heart; His purifying power to purge us and make us whole; Hearing His voice and call; Our resounding Yes and boldly professing Him.

God Bless.

THE PEOPLE YOU SHOULD MEET AND THE PEOPLE YOU MUST MISS

Isaiah

Welcome to the new year, if you are reading this post, well I congratulate you, you made it.

The journey of life involves certain rules and regulations to be strictly followed if we want to have good success in all areas of our lives. There are certain people God has ordained for you to meet in life, likewise there are people also you must miss in life in order to attain your God given destiny.

Taking our example from the Bible, we see lots of people who became successful because of the people they met, and those that failed because of the people they met as well.

Joseph was announced to the Pharaoh because he met someone in jail, David survived the trying times of King Saul because he met Jonathan that gave his life in place of his. Samson ended his ministry and life because he met Delilah, Rehoboam the son of King Solomon lost ten kingdoms to Jeroboam because of the friends he met that advised him. Our first Text is a very renowned prophet, one of the greatest among the major prophets.

Isaiah 6:1

“In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.”

isaiah6_1

The story of Isaiah and King Uzziah is a rare and strange story, to understand this you need to start from the first chapters when you get to the chapter 6, you read the verse 1-8 and meditate on it, there you see the real message of the story.

Uzziah was a king who started well in the beginning, but his later days was not good enough 2 Chronicles 26. Uzziah did start well but the strong man called pride entered into his life. He met the people he was supposed to miss and missed those he should have met. Isaiah was a Prophet in the era of King Uzziah, notice what the Bible says.

“In the year that King Uzziah died, I Isaiah saw the Lord.”

The simple questions are why didn’t Isaiah see God during the reign of King Uzziah? What happened during the time of Uzziah was alive? What event transpired during chapter 1-5?

pride-led-king-uzziah-to-offer-incense-at-the-temple-by-v-gilbert-and-arlisle-f-beers-from-www-visualbiblealive-com

The answer lies in who you meet and who you miss, this has a great impact on your success and the kind of life you will live.

The connection between Isaiah and King Uzziah was a “Terrible Connection!” Uzziah was the closed Heaven between Isaiah and God, like a blockage between Heaven and Isaiah.

What is a Terrible Connection?

It is a killer at the edge of greatness, a carefully manipulated bond that should never have occurred. It is a wasting bond, a time waster, an emptier. It is planned carefully to obstruct one from achieving their divine goal. A terrible connect is made to waste, empty and render useless an individual. There are countless people who had encounters with the wrong people and wished they did not meet them.

Life is all about who you meet and who you miss, success is all about correct positioning and the right connection.

You came into this world because your parents met each other, either good or bad I leave that for you to decide and judge.

Your purpose in life is to fulfill a destiny, If you Miss Jesus, “Life will be a Shattered Dreams.”

In our journey through life, we will meet certain kinds and groups of people.

You will meet those that will:

  • Inspire you to greatness.
  • Will make you great.
  • Leave you the way they met you.
  • Impact you positively.
  • Impact your life negatively.
  • Those that will De-anoint you.

Uzziah was de-anointing Isaiah, this is a serious matter though overlooked and kept aside. The people we associate with influences the outcome of our lives. Many people have lost their lives, violated in every ramification because the met someone that took them somewhere and connected them somewhere, which triggered tragic event in their lives which could have been avoided assuming they did not meet them.

As Christians don’t just choose people for what hear, assume or see in them. Looks can be deceiving, make sure you know their right standing with God and be sure about it. The right people will propel you to greatness, the wrong people will lead you down the drain.

Finally, dearly beloved and my wonderful youth; Marry the right person so you can achieve your goals. Pray to meet the right one for you, and please pray harder so you miss the wrong person. Watch and Pray with your eyes open. Marriage is deep, and for those with a great destiny, the enemy is working tirelessly to cause them to make the wrong choice.

Abraham, Hannah, Moses, Joshua, Deborah, and others. They married who God intended for them.

“If you want to fulfill destiny then marry the right person.”

You are who you marry because two shall become one! My unmarried fellas, please FLEE FORNICATION; the Bible says Flee, not Preach

Don’t play with your Destiny on the Altar of Pleasure, you will not get it Back.

Don’t be a prayer warrior at the pillar, like Samson in Judges 16:20-31. Don’t start praying when all is destroyed. Don’t find God when He’s already gone. It will be too late to cry when the Head is Cut-Off.

Pray to God so He reveals to you who really are, this narrows your perspective in life, and lead you to the right person with ease. If God is telling and giving you sign about your association, yield to God and obey Him. Don’t get into what God is not involved in.

Samson met the wrong person and she finished it, Ahab met the devil called Jezebel and she wasted him.

Watch your associations, carefully select your friends, pray hard for your partner, Listen to God and Obey His Word. Doing all these God will Save you from every Terrible Connection.

God Bless.

WHO REALLY ARE YOU?

a8145135-2841-4187-bc30-5237dc26f690

Who are you? I just asked a very simple and easy question, but the answer is very difficult to get. Let us go to the bible, am sure we will be able to answer this simple question by the time God is done speaking to us.

Let me refresh your minds.

After the fall of man, it took 42 generations to have the once close relationship and fellowship man use to have with God. Jesus came and reconcile man back to God. But before that time there was a period known as the time of silence.

BibleTimeline

From the time in creation, God usually spoke through messengers (prophets, high priests, seers etc.) and at the end of the old testament which is the book Malachi, God did not speak anymore for the next 400 years. It was a time when no one knew anything nor heard anything. It was a time of the total blackout.

John the Baptist came into the scene. He is known as the forerunner of Jesus Christ.

This is where we are heading! In the gospel of John chapter one, the people asked John a very simple question, “ Who Are you?”

John 1:19. And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?

The question of Identity

2012-12-12_deCode_Fotolia_pad

Who really are we? Let us be real, do you really have an idea of who you really are? Do you understand the kind of destiny you have? Do you have an idea of the life you are supposed to be living? Do you understand the career you should be pursuing? Who really are You?

The day you are able to answer this simple question, your life will never remain the same again. People are living in this world without identity, they have no purpose, no mission, no vision, no goal, no life! This is so sad.

When you fail to know who you really are, you are automatically a failure.

When you have answered the question of your identity you are already in the pathway of greatness. Your identity determines the actions and reactions you are taking and making now.

Joseph knew who he was, he couldn’t trade his God-given vision for the pleasure of sex; Ruth understood that her identity was found in Naomi, and she will lead her to her Boaz. She just couldn’t let go of Nomi, Oprah did not understand this. Joshua knew he was meant to be a leader; he stayed focused, paying close attention to his identity. David understood his identity, he knew he was meant to be a king. He acted towards that path of kingship. The prodigal son got back to his senses and discovered his identity; he just couldn’t continue living with pigs and eat the same meal prepared for pigs. He went back home, back to his roots.

When you really know who you are, my friend you can’t waste your life in worldly things and with things that will not benefit your life. Never! You will not continue to dwell in all kinds of sins; you will definitely flee from all forms of sin.

The day you really understand who you really are, you will not play with your destiny on the altar of pleasure.

God is searching for people that understand who they really are so He can fill them with His raw power and fire.

John the Baptist knew his identity; he could answer the simple question.

John 1:20-21.

And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.

I am not the Christ! Very simple and straightforward answer. He refused to take the wrong identity. Remember the people asking him these questions, they knew the bible. They were expecting Jesus. Notice that John the Baptist refused to fit into the shoes of Jesus. He refused to bear the wrong name, nor take the fake identity. John the Baptist chose to accept who he was.

They asked him again in verse 21.

And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No

He said a big NO! Elijah was a man known for the demonstration/manifestation of the power of God. The people felt John was Elijah. John the Baptist chose to remain where God Has called him to be and to do the assignment God Has given him.

In verse 22 the people finally reveal who they really were and said

“Then said they unto him, Who art thou? That we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?”

This makes us understand that people are waiting to know and understand who we really are the devil is on a mission to find out. Because the day they understand us, that day they are able to predict us.

In verse 23 the real John the Baptist was revealed.

He said I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.

john1-23-1024x576

He gave his answer in the words of the scriptures to show that the scripture was fulfilled in him. He answered this simple question in a very humble, modest, self-denying expression.

His identity, goal, vision, and mission were to gather the people in preparation for our Lord Jesus Christ.

When you know and truly understand your identity, you will overcome the spirit of destiny misplacement, you overcome the spirit of lust and pride. John the Baptist was mistaken to be the Messiah, he did not connive at it; never! He refused to dwell in the office where he did not belong.

Many people, who don’t know their identity or have lost it, tend to make this great mistake. They fit in the wrong place in life. It is a big mistake when a doctor is fitting into the position of a tailor….

Your identity is what makes you different and unique from others, it differentiates you, makes you outstanding, and in all successful. If the difference in a man is spotted out, being positive or negative, it is because there’s something unique or outstanding about him and this is what makes him different from other people.

You must study what makes you positively unique (differences) and not your weakness, this will help you get closer to your assignment.

Your success in life is your identity and it is strictly related to what makes you stand out from the multitude.

When you understand your identity life becomes simple, you are able to answer these three questions, which are:

  1. Who are You? This solves your IDENTITY! John the Baptist knew who he was. When they asked him Who are You? He could answer! He said, “I AM THE VOICE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS!” This is it. John 1:19-25.
  1. Why are you Here? This solves your PURPOSE! Your assignment is found in your purpose. This influences your decisions and approaches towards life.
  1. How Shall I Be? This solves how you FUNCTION AND HOW YOU OPERATE! It directs you to your destiny with ease!

Finally!! Answers to the questions will narrow down your life to a simple one. You actually remove from your life, Confusion, Frustration, Stress, and Anxiety & Worry. Leading you to a successful life and great achievements in life.

Some People are Satisfied with it if it good; Some want it Better. The Best is only Good Enough For Me!!!!🙌👏💒💎

COME LET US REASON TOGETHER; “THOUGH YOUR SINS!”

come now let us reason

Isaiah 1:18.

“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

The book of Isaiah is a book of restoration and reformation. God spoke through prophet Isaiah and gave lots of prophecies in the restoration of the lost glory of His people Israel.

From verse one of this chapter, God was talking about the sin of the nation of Judah. In verse eleven God was asking them: to what purpose is the multitude of their sacrifices? They are vain obligations. In vain they worshiped God. He wasn’t really interested in their burnt offerings, their motives and intentions were totally wrong. God didn’t see it as an act of obedience.

Upon verse twelve He asked them: who has required these things at your hand?

Is not that God was not willing to accept their sacrifices, or He is happy rejecting the offerings of His people. But their iniquity made God unhappy with them.

Isaiah 59:1-2.

“Behold, the Lord ‘s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”

God is closer than we think He actually is to us, it’s our iniquity, our lifestyles, our deeds that are making Him stay far away.

God gave His people a new page, a blank sheet to start all over again. It was a new opportunity, He refused to allow them to wander and waste in their sins. God is not rejecting us, He is calling us back. He wants us to negotiate and find a perfect way according to His standards out of our sins, and to set us free from the destructive power of sin.

God is telling us to forsake our old lives and put away that sin that so easily beset us. And focus only on God, who is the author and finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12:1-2.

God is pleading here with us saying, “ Come and let us talk, reason, negotiate together: though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” God wants to have a chat with us, He wants us to think and agree together, He wants to see reasons with us. He doesn’t want us to be entangled in the bondage of sin.

The Call To Repentance

5s35fseytuj88ks2f5327p9tb3zqv8zw

God is saying: if you will want eternal life and power that surpasses human understanding, you must begin a new walk with Christ in complete obedience to His rules and Laws.

We must cease to do evil; we must wash and make ourselves clean and whole again. We must learn too well. This is necessary for having complete repentance and turn around.

It is not just enough if we stop living the old. It is very important that we put on the new man and learn to live a righteous life, holy and acceptable to God.

We must continue doing well, our motives must be right. We must practice righteous living so we can have an expected end. We must learn to do well; we must take pains to get the knowledge of our duty, be inquisitive concerning it, in care about it and accustom ourselves to it. That we may become a master of this holy art of doing well.

We must seek judgment and justice; enquire what is right, that we may apply it to our everyday lives.

Finally family!

snow

God is begging us that we can still come as we are to Him, but we cannot remain as we are. He wants to wash us as white as snow!!!

He is saying, while our hands are stained with sin and our hearts are filled up with the guilt of the past, He is still ready to accept us if only we can be washed in the blood of Jesus.

God is giving only one simple condition, which is: Break off your league with sin and you shall be welcomed into His covenant and you will have fellowship and communion with Him.

Though your sins are as red as scarlet, and crimson, though you are under the guilt of blood, yet upon your repentance, you shall be forgiven and you shall appear in the sight of God as white as snow.

If you be willing and obedient!!!

Obedience is important to have a sweet ride with Christ. Others maybe having it their own way, some may say it doesn’t matter, “ God Understands.” It is true! But God will not go against His words for your own selfish interest. He honors His words more than His name. And am happy to tell you that the devil understands as well and there are consequences for everything we are going either good or bad.

 Let us reason together…

There are lots of goodies waiting for us, we only need to obey. If we make ourselves clean by repentance and reformation, God will make us whole by full remission. If we are obedient, the good of the land, the promises of the new covenant will be ours.

But if we rebel vs 20!! We will have ourselves to blame; the consequences of disobedience will come upon us.

And Now Life and Death, Good and Evil are set before us; come and let us reason together! What have you to object to complying with God’s conditions?

God bless!

THE VICTORIOUS LIFE

ManWorshippingGod

A victorious life is a life worth living. Many people find it hard to attain this kind of life. Despite books, messages, mentors and uncountable means of enlightenment, a man still fails to attain the victorious life.

On of the reasons why humans fail is because we lack focus and priority. I have met lots of people who don’t understand why they were born; they don’t even know their purpose.

When you have a purpose in life, which is your scope; objectives; motives, you will be focused on fulfilling it. Your mind is fixed on it. Philippians 2:5-11 tells us about Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour how fixed and focused He was to His mission of coming to earth. He refused to allow distraction and temptation to take Him away from His original plan.

To be victorious there are certain things we should focus on and give our maximum attention to, these things are God, Destiny Career, and Marriage. Noticed I followed a particular pattern. Isaiah 28:10. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. When you know God, you are going to understand your Destiny. When you understand the kind of destiny you have and you are supposed to fulfill, then you are going to make the right Career. When you have understood these three things, trust me your Marriage will be directed in the right path.

God comes first because when you truly focus on God, He leads you and makes you achieve the other three (Destiny, Career, and Marriage).

Focus makes you plan ahead, Men fail because of broken focus. Focus makes you see what you need to see only and at the right time. Focus is like a glue: it keeps you intact and fixed to want you have made up your mind to do. There is no achievement in life, that focus is not 100% needed.

Where your Focus is, there lies your heart and mind.

If a man focus is diverted, the destiny of that man as well is diverted.

The two major rules to a victorious life are to PLAN AHEAD & FOCUS:

P: Predetermine your course of action.

L: Lay out your goals.

A: Adjust your priorities. (This is very important: First things first).

N: Notify key Personal.

 A: Allow time for acceptance.

H: Head into action.

E: Expect problems

A: Always point to your success.

D: Daily review your progress.

F: Fight to the end.

O: Opposition will come.

C: Consistent despite all.

U: Unique victory.

S: Stable ending.

To live the victorious there are rules to follow.

111

  • Make obedience your first priorities Psalm 119:9-11.
  • Never wait to see what the people around you want to do, hurry up and do what is right.
  • Makes eternal lasting decisions, not temporarily.
  • Deeply appreciate your past, without worshiping it.
  • Value results in more than image and reputation.
  • Know that to influence others you have to stand out and be a defender of righteousness.
  • Never weaver from your understanding of what is right.
  • Trust in God more than your gifts.
  • Re-enforce your week points.
  • Reassure yourself, refuse to quit.
  • Renew your strength continually.
  • Make glorifying God your ultimate goal.

Finally, you have to live ahead of your contemporaries: see what others can’t see and do what they don’t want to do. To succeed in this trying times you have to live above your circumstances and look only to Jesus, Hebrews 12:1-2. Live deeper than your calamity and in all; Live beyond your capabilities. Always aim high. Make God your friend, do the right thing. Stand-alone even if no one stands with you. Just make sure you do the right thing in the sight of God.

Refuse to play games with God. Don’t play with your destiny on the altar of pleasure like Samson. Get serious with your salvation.

A life without Christ is Shattered Dreams.

God Bless
